Spring time = Lolita time!

The first flowers are coming out, the grass gets greener and the trees start growing leaves again- spring is in the air! <3

And with this fresh season comes new inspiration for the lolita style! I wandered around the stores in the city lately and I wanted to share the new "springlike" items I bought with you. :)

Even if I'd consider myself a gothic lolita, I sometimes like to mix my look with sweet or classic elements. Right now I'm experimenting with flowers in my gothic coords, so I purchased this nice hairband with three black blossoms on top of it:

Flowers can brighten up your outfit easily- even if they're plain black!

I'm already talking about flowers- here are the new tights I bought! I'm so madly in love with them <3:

Here an investment I wanted to make for a long time, but I never really put effort in getting one: A loliable umbrella! Too bad it's pastel pink and won't fit most of my outfits, but I thought it was so pretty so I had to buy it! :D

And last but not least, the wig. It's the third wig I own. I got my first one second hand for 10€, and yeah...what would you expect for 10€. You look like the exploded top of an broom when putting it on. The bangs are just weird and the curls are super frizzy. Though I like the blood red color of it, I've never worn it.
My second wig was around 20€, and I was really content when I got it. The colors were gray with a soft blue layer of hair underneath. Sadly, these colors don't fit most of my lolita wardrobe- so here we are, my third more inconspicuous wig:

It's heat resistand up to 200°C, but I'm not sure if I want to do anything to it because the hair already looks so well done.

I know some lolitas don't like wigs. The reason for me wearing them is because I have pretty short, straight and layered hair that won't keep up with the spectacularity of a nicely done lolita coord. I try to grow it out...but it takes soooooo loooong! xO

Nice evening to you all! ~

My impressions of the gothic lolita skirt from Restyle

Yesterday, my lolita skirt from Restyle finally arrived.
It's truly more beautiful than I already imagined it to be!

The delightful print of the skirt. It's simple, but still: The details are so lovely!

About the brand Restyle:
Restyle is a polish brand that produces mainly gothic-themed clothing and accessory. They only sell their products online (at least I'm 99% sure they do).

I became aware of the brand as I browsed on the german online second hand store Kleiderkreisel for lolita mode. As soon as I found the skirt, I fell in love with the print and checked out the website of Restyle- I wasn't disappointed.
Even if it's not a lolita brand in particular they offer alot of loli-able clothing, especially accessories! Don't think this store's just interesting for the gothic people around here, classic lolitas will also find some nice pieces to wear and love. :)

About the skirt itself:
First, let me show you how it looks while worn:

The material:
According to the Restyle online store the skirt is made out of 100% cotton.
Also, it says the skirt DOESN'T come with a sewed in petticoat, but mine owns one. I guess I got an older version of the skirt, and I think I understand why they removed the petti- I'll talk about that later.
The appearance of the fabric is mat, but it feels not as soft as some other lolita cotton pieces (which isn't a bad thing after all).
What gives the skirt the IT is the stunning print, of course. It's only printed over the fabric, not into it, so I wouldn't recommend throwing it in the washing machine.

Pro:
I'm feeling very comfortable wearing the skirt. You have a zipper in the back that nearly disappears when closed once- the zipper also makes it alot easier to put it on and off.
You also don't have to worry about sizes: The skirt's avaiable from S to XXL and has some shirring on its right side.

Con:
Only thing I have to criticize is the petti-problem: I can't blame them for sewing tull underneath the skirt. It looks great, the tull is thick and strong- but then there's this thing with the zipper: Somehow it seems they didn't put any tull where the zipper is, and the skirt is a little bit flat there. I didn't recognize it at first, and it isn't a main disadvantage, but still...you see it if you know it's there. :/

Summary:
So, was the skirt worth the price?
I payed 50€ incl. shipping costs and I'd say: Yes.
I'm content with every aspect of it, except the petticoat in the back. But that's just a tiny flaw, and Restyle saw it and corrected it.

All in all I have a nice opinion about Restyle and I think about ordering some jewelry there sometime. :)

Have a nice day everyone! ~
